Relation: Ex/FriendRita is a smart and confident Miqo'te woman who devoted herself to protect Asuna. She was appointed to take care of Asuna by her sister, making them best friends and eventually sister like. One day, Rita was depressed from losing someone yet again and Asuna came to her aid, eventually confessing her love for the Miqo'te. Unfortunately, the love they shared faded away.

Asuna was designated to being her guide in the Trial of the Elementals in order to be accepted back and join the Twin Adder. She inspired Asuna to express herself in her dark times as well as supporting her in her journey to being a sorceress. Now with the promise of sticking together. Unfortunately with Mirai disappeared, Asuna has no choice but to move on, despite her feelings.

The two were best friends that had a lot of things in common, Asuna had another girl other than her tough sister that she could bond with.

Relation: Mother FigureMother Miounne is the guild representative of Gridania who took young Asuna in when she was lost and alone. She was a mother figure, seeing the potential that Asuna had and helped her get into the conjurer's guild. Before an assignment, Miounne always makes sure that Asuna had her favorite tea before leaving. She also gave Asuna a place to stay until she found a place for herself.
Luna Storm
Relation: NieceWhenever her mothers are wanting some alone time, Luna usually goes to Asuna to be babysat by her aunt. They have developed a strong bond together through the many visits together. Luna and Asuna share an interest in cooking, prompting Asuna to teach the little one how to.
Asuna was born into a happy family at first. Always helped her mother and sister with chores and errands. Sadly, she didn't know her father too well as in her tribe, Tia's are not allowed to breed with the woman of the tribe. Asuna rarely saw her father as he had to keep secret from the family. Without knowing it, Asuna was picked to be the next bride of the W tribe's leader when she became older as the leader sensed great beauty within the girl wanting Asuna to be his bride. After several years however, Asuna's raven black hair turned to orangey brown much like her birth father and the family was soon casted out. However, Asuna was not to be casted out but her family took her regardless as they did not want Asuna to be alone.
The family found refuge in the pirate town of Limsa Lominsa, changed their names and was known as the Storm family for several more years. The family was happy for once in their lives and Asuna finally got to see her father with no need for secrecy. Although the father normally taught her sister how to hunt, Asuna's mother would be in the kitchen, teaching the young Miqo'te how to cook and make her famous apple cider along with being taught by her mother magic. Asuna learnt this swiftly as her powerful attunement to aether. Asuna then grew up into a young teenager with a happy life until the parents were called to action. The sisters did not like this, while her sister protested, Asuna was too distressed to say anything until her sister ran for their parents prompting Asuna to chase after the reckless girl. The Battle of Carteneu was a fierce battle which the two sisters found themselves in the middle of. They finally found their parents but the parents were killed trying to protect the little naive girls from being harmed. Asuna ran from this and hid behind a nearby broken magitek armor. She looked up into the dreadful sky and was horrified by the great wyrm Bahamut. After a short while, she was blinded by light and suddenly found herself in the woods of the Black Shroud, alone and lost.
Wandering around the Black Shroud on her own, Asuna would never stop crying and took shelter at the Guardian Tree when she heard a voice that comforted her. Her natural talent with aether gave her the ability to sense aether much stronger than the normal person. On one of her prayers to the Guardian Tree, a elezen woman finds the crying Asuna and comforts her as well as take her back to Gridania where she gave Asuna shelter and food and water. This woman would be known as the adventurers guild representative, Mother Miounne. Asuna took a shining to the woman and eventually bonded, Miounne becoming a mother to Asuna. Miounne takes notice of Asuna's magical prowess and helps her join with the conjurer's guild. Some students, and even some villagers, didn't not take a liking to the young girl due to the fact she was an outsider, making her feel weak and useless and eventually running to her adoptive mother. Miounne did not like this as she promptly reported the students to the conjurer's guild master and had Asuna be a personal student of the guild, letting her be protected by the rude students.
Asuna excelled in her conjury studies, making her as powerful as a white mage along with the spells that came with the soulstone despite not having one herself. Eventually, she became the go to conjurer for assignments as well as giving her a home to stay in at the Lavender Beds. Her life was finally going somewhere but despite all that was good for her, she was still all alone, her sister was nowhere to be seen and her heart was empty waiting for someone to fill it. Multiple men wanted to date her but none of them filled her heart. Sometimes she cried herself to sleep at night and even took walks through the Black Shroud to clear her head. During one of these walks, she encountered a strange but seemingly kind Au Ra man who Asuna took notice through her aether sensing. His aether was strange so she decided to talk to him. He wanted to explore the Lost City of Ampador and she showed him the way and eventually tagged along with the man. While exploring this lost city, the aether around it was faded and this concerned Asuna. Afterwards, she reported her findings to the Elder Seedseer
